The Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club (HHAC) thrives because of the dedication and spirit of our volunteers. To ensure our swimmers continue to develop in a safe, professional, and competitive environment, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our Executive Board.
These roles are vital to maintaining our compliance with Swim Ontario and Swimming Canada regulations, providing the foundation that allows our athletes to excel in the water.
Executive & Administrative Leadership Opportunities
Club Registrar (Executive Position)
This is a high-impact role on our Board of Directors. You are the bridge between our club and the provincial governing body, ensuring every Hurricane is eligible and ready to compete.
Key Responsibilities: Register all swimmers and coaches with Swim Ontario; verify that all participant registration requirements are complete; actively participate as a member of the Board of Directors.
Secretary (Executive Position)
Help keep the Hurricanes organized and moving forward. This role is essential for maintaining clear communication and historical records for the club.
Key Responsibility: Attend Executive Meetings and accurately record minutes to document club decisions and progress.
Club Official Chair / Administrator
Our meets depend on the technical expertise of officials. In this role, you provide the administrative backbone that ensures our hosted events are professional and successful.
Key Responsibility: Support our dedicated officials and help ensure all meets run smoothly and within the regulations of the sport.
