We are thrilled to introduce an exciting opportunity that not only benefits our team, but also helps you fulfill your volunteer hour requirements.
HHAC Officiating Requirements: HHAC has a long-standing tradition of requiring at least one member of each family to become an official.
Why do I need to become a Swim Meet Official?
Here's how you can dive right in:
Step 1: One parent or guardian from a family must Register As An Official and complete the Level One courses, as outlined in the HHAC handbook.
Step 2: Complete a short practicum at an upcoming swim meet. This hands-on experience will provide valuable insights and ensure that you are fully prepared to take on your official duties with confidence.
More information can be found at the Swim Ontario website.
Your dedication and participation as Swim Meet Officials are crucial to our team's continued success, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
If you have any questions or need guidance, please don't hesitate to reach out to Carmen Armstrong, HHAC's Club Official Chair, at hhac.clubofficialchair@gmail.com. Carmen is ready to assist you and provide valuable insights.
Together, we'll make this swim season a memorable one for our young athletes.
