Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club Pre-Season Camp – Category 4 & 5

Due to the ongoing construction at the VRC, the Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club is unable to officially begin our regular season as scheduled. To help our swimmers stay active and prepare for the upcoming season, HHAC is offering a Pre-Season Camp for previously registered Huron Hurricanes swimmers, including our Pre-Competitive, Age Group, and Masters programs.

This camp is designed to help swimmers return to the water, rebuild fitness and endurance, refine their skills, and reconnect with teammates before the official season begins.

Registration Requirements

To participate in the HHAC Pre-Season Camp, Category 4 & 5 swimmers must:

• Be registered for the 2026/2027 HHAC swimming season.
• Select all dates they wish to attend. Registration is on a per-day basis.
• Register for the Category 4 or Category 5 training group and assigned time slot.
• Attend the session time that was provided in the swimmer’s July assessment email, as each category has a different practice schedule.

Category 4 & 5 swimmers also have the option of selecting Saturday morning sessions, which will include:

• One hour of swimming.
• One hour of dryland training in the weight room.

Registration Fee and Payment

The registration fee is $15.00 per swimmer, per day. You will be charged for each date selected during registration.

Payment is due on September 7 and will be processed through PoolQ.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for missed sessions, changes in availability, or cancellations after registration.

YMCA Membership Requirement

As the Pre-Season Camp will be held at the YMCA, all participants must have an active YMCA membership that provides access to the facility and pool.

Please note that HHAC is not responsible for obtaining YMCA memberships or for any fees associated with YMCA membership. All membership arrangements and related costs are the responsibility of each participant. Access to the YMCA is governed solely by YMCA policies and procedures. Swimmers without a valid YMCA membership may be denied entry to the facility and will not be able to participate in the Pre-Season Camp.
